You You need an UPC-A barcode. This is standard around the world.

CD/DVD/Books: We can give you a UPC number for any of these items, however you will also need an ISDN-13 number to get into most book resellers. You can usually get both at the same time from the same company. Look on the back on the most recent books and you'll see how the 2 codes are related. The numbers in an ISBN code each have a specific meaning including country, language, and publisher codes.

Clothing: Clothing requires a separate UPC code for each and every size, color, and style. If there is one tiny different between 2 shirts, they need their own UPC code. Same thing with shoes and jewelry.
